Obviously, I won the most I could out of this pot, but I'm just posting here to ask what kind of range you could be possibly putting villain on. It was actually entering my mind that a fold could be smart here, what he ended up having was the last hand I was expecting, basically I was torn between A5 and QQ, but I went ahead and called it, hoping I was up against the former. My question here is would this all in really have you scared, thinking for 20 seconds, or would you instacall here, thinking your low boat is definitely good? Also, villain seemed like a decent player, and pushing with Q9 here seems like an absolutely horrible play, so is it really as bad as I think?

Wow, either your read on him being a decent player was off, or he put you on A rag or mid pp and never re evaluated you.

I would have had him on KQ or AQ, at first, but your right him having QQ would have giving me pause to think as well.
Nice show down

Loose call in the small blind, but since you're 150bb's deep, I guess its okay.

Bet/raise more on every street. You don't want to have to rely on him raising you to get all in.

Fold pf. 150 deep doesn't mean much - you have to hit a miracle (meaning you hitting a monster and him hitting as well, though slightly worse) to make it worthwhile.

Agree with everyone on the PF, you are OOP and need a great flop. As for the call this is an insta fist pump call.

Super cooler for villain. Hurts when his 3 pairs get beat by a FH. :D

Otherwise, i agree with the others. 65o is a fold OOP. It's probably profitable in position as you don't need to flop a monster to outplay villain post-flop.

Yes, normally a 6-5 preflop facing a raise is a fold (unless he minraised you and you were in BB). After the turn you shouldn't have really feared anything, but him pushing with queen nine wasn't as bad a play as you make it out to be. But he should have picked up on the fact you min-raised your set. Unless he or you were new.

I showed so much strength though, he had to figure he was down at that point, but I guess he didn't... and it was a standard check raise that I was using both as a bluff (showing cards to get paid out better) and when I hit monsters, but yeah I couldve bet more I guess, thankfully he did the betting for me :)

agreed it isn't really a great call on my part preflop, I was kinda going on the philosophy that if you feel like you are outplaying the rest of the table, see more flops. I must start tightening up my game a bit if I move up though, playing that loose can't be a winning strategy in higher limits, now my pokertracker stats at 25 NL 6-max are 38 VPIP/28 PFR/10 3bet/ 4.8 AF, maybe I should multitable more so playing tight doesnt get so boring lol but thanks for the suggestions
