Lost money but feel good

I lost a big pot but I got my money in 80% so I feel pretty good. The read on this player was maniac he will play any king, ace, and queen and bluffs a lot. The only thing I'm wondering is if I should have raised all in instead of calling his big bet on the flop?

He would have called even if you did reraise all in. He has top pair, best kicker and a backdoor flush draw.

No if I put myself all in after he went all in instead of just calling. Would that have any effect as the other play could have called too?
