Bought in for $300 hovered between $250-350 for most of the session, couldn't connect with many flops. Starting to get annoyed at missing, tired, and contemplating going home I start to tilt a little.
9 handed table, all players involved stacks are at least $250.
Dealt 5d4d in MP. Utg+2 raises to $12, I call, player behind me calls and we take a 3 way flop.
FLOP: Js3s2d
Utg+2 bets $35, I call, player behind calls. My reads are Utg+2 AJ or overpair. Player behind me flush draw.
TURN: 9c
Utg+2 checks, I contemplate betting $100 thinking the flush draw can't call, and the AJ or overpair may put me on a set and fold. But instead I chicken out and check, player behind shoves $100, I still think he's on the draw thinking same way I am. Utg+2 calls reluctantly, I fold.
RIVER: Ac DAMNIT!!!!
Both players checks and UTG+2 scoops the $350 pot with KK and other player mucked.
I feel 100% I shove on the turn if the flop didn't have a flush draw out there taking 2 of my outs away. Not having the balls to semi bluff there made me a $110 loser for the day instead of a $250+ winner. Just annoying that I failed myself.
