I couldn't have said it any better. I would have raised the turn, because 1) even the original caller might have paid to see one more card 2) the raiser would have to call 3) it's limit . True, the raiser might have just checked on the river, but he also 'probably' would have called your bet. So could be a case of '6 of one, half dozen of the other'.
And with just one more bet to call on the river (rather than your re-raise), the original caller might also have called. With a tight player limping under the gun, and a reraiser, and a high card flop (and you not having any of those cards), you know someone hit something. But ya never know, quite possibly you extracted as much as you were gonna, no matter what you did.
