For starters, you reraised the flop with top pair no kicker.

You are probably annoyed that he hit the king on you, but the reality is that one of the other two players could have easily had a better jack.

^^ agreed, with that much ppl seeing the flop, and with all the combinations out there, its just a call on the flop, not a raise and if others started reraising each other, it is a definate fold

Ok, let's start on the flop since PF was perfect:) .

Remember, have a gameplan in limit. With your raise are you trying to push out draws and middle pairs or build a pot to maximize the value? With top pair weak kicker against 5 players raising to build a pot isn't a good idea, and the pot is big enough that a raise will not knock anyone out with a decent draw. You may get overpairs and a gutshot to fold, however the implied odds may keep them in.

For example, the pot is 6 small bets on the flop. Small blind bets out (7 sb's) and you raise (9 sb's). Anyone behind you is getting roughly 4.5 to 1(9 small bets in pot/ 2 small bets to call). Most players at this level will not fold if they hit a piece of the flop for that price. You have just built a large pot that you will likely lose and that makes it impossible to get anyone to fold the turn if they miss.

If you just call the flop bet, and the players behind also just call (big IF there) you can keep the pot smaller and bet/raise the turn if a blank comes. By just calling, the pot on the turn would be smaller making a raise after a small blind bet less inviting, as they would have to call two big bets for a smaller pot.

Also, with this many players on the flop you have to be aware that your hand is behind to a better J, a set and could be drawing almost dead to QT or T7. The two suited flop also devalues your hand further.

I probably would just fold in this situation. Your hand may already be second best and even if you are ahead now it will likely be outdrawn by the river. You have no redraw possibilities beside runner runner full house. And you are OOP. Just fold next time.
