Game was .25/.50 limit holdem
I got QQ UTG +1.
I raise to $.50.
Action folds to BB.
BB reraises to $.75.
I suspect I may be beaten, so I reraise to $1 to determine where I am in the hand.
BB reraises to $1.25.
I fold and show.
He shows AA.
Next thing I know, the entire table is saying that I should have seen the flop.
What do you guys think?

There was $2.35 in the pot, and it cost you $0.25 to see the flop. odds of flopping a set are about 1:8. So on just a purely pot odds standpoint, you were getting 9.4:1 and you should've called.

As a newb, how do you calculate the odds on that?

2 cards out of 50 that would give you the set, is it 2/50+2/49+2/48?

really really bad fold, even if you really think villain has aces, you still call for set mining odds and you still want to get to showdown. Also wtf at the non capped raise to $1

I didnt even read the thread, just the title, I haven't played Limit Hold'em in well over 2 years, and even I know this was a huge mistake. Like this is the type of mistake that will take you 3 weeks of grinding to make up for because of all the EV you just surrendered.

I'd been playing NL for the majority of the day before switching over, so I was still in a NL mindset. I made this exact same fold in NL a few hours earlier.
