I think I would have bet the turn just as you did. With an overpair and a draw to the second nut flush, I'm pretty happy to put chips in here. Bet/calling the turn and check/calling the river seems fine, though I couldn't fault you for playing it as Tenbob would've.

After gololl raises the turn, I don't see what you beat except maybe for QJ with the queen being diamonds. With the size of this pot you still need to go to showdown, but you certainly don't want to put in more than one bet on that river because you're not winning this pot more than half the time.

About half the time, I bet/call this flop and checkraise a safe turn instead (this turn wasn't safe, so I would check-call it). Anyone drawing will still see a river and by checkraising the turn you trap them for two bets when your equity is much higher than it is on the flop.

For the results-oriented among you, the river was checked down and my opponent had JT, so I took the pot.
