Well i ended up folding this one - Bill H's not giving implied odds with big PPs thread went through my head during this hand.
I probably should have folded the turn too...any comments?

I would have raised a lot more preflop. Maybe like .20 or .25 cents. Good raise on the turn. I guess with these blinds players will call anything. Still, with possible straight or flush you had to lay it down.

You did the right thing there were too many hands out there that would have beat you!!! knowing when to let go is key! i played live lastnight(actually this morning) and there were way to many chasers in everyhand and they lost most of their buy in!!! i havent played with you b/c im new to the forum and cant wait for a cc event that i can play but you have posted alot of your winning tourneys and that says something!! Play your game!! Good luck

I think you played it right the whole way through. I play at the 1c/2c tables on Stars every now and then and your strategy was quite good against most of the people that play at those limits. I don't think you should have folded after the turn - at that point you had an open ended straight and a flush draw, in which you have roughly a 30%? chance of hitting on the river, although pot odds would suggest folding as you were 1:3 to win the hand and pot odds were 1:2. If he would have went all-in after the turn, then yes fold after the turn, don't chase bad money with good.
The way it played out, great fold on the river, not much of an option there.

Decent play all the way through. I don't have much experience with .01/.02 tables. But you raised 4xBB pre-flop. I might have gone 5-6x to protect a big pocket pair like that, even though it was 4xBB .08 to call doesn't seem like it would scare anybody away.

This is pretty much a classic case of.. you got drawn out on. The turn call was correct as you had a decent chance to improve your hand. It would have been a tough decision had you hit the straight though.

Good fold Chuck. The $ you don't lose are as important as the $ you win.
