Straight isnt likely i guess, since itd have 2 be q9 or 97.

One could have 99 and other ace jack, or someone could have hit a set or 2 pairs with jack ten although not as likely.

Id probably call that.

AJ most likely. Trying to keep the str8 and flush draw away. Call.

Would a donk at CDP call with 79 or 9Q? If they are suited, hell ya.

With just a little info telling me these are typical CDP donks I call expecting to see a flush draw or top pair the majority of the time.

(never go str8 from CDP to PS, sure way to lose all your funds)

I'm usually at the .10/.20 tables there, maybe the quality of play gets a lot better up one level. :p

Yes LoDog makes a good point I should have mentioned... The players at CDP are more donkish then most sites...

About the quality of play being better at .25/.50...

Preflop, ya gotta raise more. The standard 'equation' is 3BBs + 1 for every limper - but - we'll be out of position post-flop, so we should probably tack on another BB here. I like a 2 or 2.50 bet preflop to scare away any 97s or similar hands.

Post-flop, this got ugly. 2 pair has you beat, set has you beat, maybe a straight, he could have KQh or something like that - who knows. That's why we bet more PF. I probably push to isolate, and hate life when they both call and show a set and a straight. :/

Thanks chuck, figured my raise preflop was too small... I guess I've just lost confidence in the Ladies :(

Was leading with a €4.25 bet a good idea? Should it have been more ? less ? checked?

Anyways I did as you said, and sure enough syltryggen shows Q9, the other guy AJ.....

Leading the flop is definitely a good idea; action flop with 3 other people and you want to make sure noone outdraws you with a flush draw or KQ or the like.

I don't think the amount was bad, but I think a little smaller might be better. Something like $3 or $3.50 does the job fine; that way if you do get a strong raise from a player then you can get away from it. On the other hand, looking at that KK hand you linked to, I have to auto-shove this one. Their ranges are just too wide to let it go; I wouldn't doubt seeing 99 or QJ from either of them.

could be 109/89/J9/QKh pretty easily.
