Without knowing hero's hand, it's really hard to give an informed opinion...

Yup, need the missing info filled in.

Re read, opponent here may have been calling with anything, but he/she has check raised you here. Not really the same.

Man nothing came through with the hand converter.

Pre-flop:

DrGazork calls. izzyeman calls. XxAceBulitsxX
folds. poptart23 calls. bubbasbest raises to $.50.
DrGazork folds. izzyeman calls. poptart23 calls.

It's a bit tricky to follow the action, but generally speaking, committing with top pair is a good idea versus a very loose opponent. So once you've established that you want to get it all-in, it's a matter of trying to figure out how to best go about it. One way might be to simply push the flop, if you think he'll call with any pocket pair, any wheel draw and any ace. If he might lay down weaker hands than top pair to that kind of action, but is bluff-happy, then just calling and going for a check/raise on the turn is a good option.

The tricky question is whether or not to commit. With your description, there's no reason not to.

Looking at preflop, as far as I can make out, pot is $1.80 ish. You need to bet a lot more than 80 cents, especially if opponent is calling big bets light (I know there is another opponent still in, but that is yet more reason to bet bigger). I'd have bet 1.50 at least here. If he min raises that, then there's no real point not going all in for the rest of your stack.

i wouldnt exactly call that style LAG, more like calling station, but as pointed out already, you have to bet more on the flop, especially with the station tendencies of villain

If we bet the flop small in the hope of inducing a raise from the villain, then we just got what we want and we're obviously shoving this.

If we bet the flop small for some other reason... I still think we're shoving this.

I'm assuming from the title that we've been playing LAG as well, so even if villain does have some kind of hand it won't always be one that beats us. We're behind A2/A5/AQ/AK, and 25 I guess, but ahead of everything else in his range. And his range is big - worse aces, medium pairs, draws, air...

With less than a buck behind? I think we have to call now that we've come this far.

bubbasbest?

what is the question? Should I call my last 80 cents to see if I can win a $15+ pot?

It would be useful to me if you could explain your thought process on each street.
