Both villian are nittyish, one is a decent reg Dudester at 13/7/3 over 1200 hands and is a winning player, he knows im playing a different game. 3 bettor is a donk on 47/2/1 hence the pf call. Like my flop line ? This could get goooodddd :)

I must say I don't really like it, especially since it's not the fish but the good/winning reg that is still to act: he won't be raising worse than a set here, and maybe some nutflsuh draw combos, but why would he in such a bloated pot being last to act ? There's really not much potential for two pairs here and if he is winni9ng, he won't get screwy with stupid crap such as gutshot, overcard, etc.

Price the flush draw and valueraise-c/r: you have the fish probably hooked, not much sense in giving out a cheap card just to take some of dudester's money since is he raise and calls you after you drop the hammer, he would've called your c/r too.

PS: please to be posting more HH with the dudester in them. I like typing his name.

Well considering mr dude called two pre-flop raises I guess it's reasonable to say he may have an overpair to the board, possibly JJ/QQ. I can't see him flat calling here though so either a fold or a raise.

If he raises over the top it's time to shove and crack open another beer.

The donkey has 5 8 off.

drunk post, take with a grain of salt

not sure you're inviting a squeeze from a guy who's smooth calling two bets here. I assume he's on 88 or something like that, and thus don't expect him to raise.

3-bettor is a donk, but his pfr is tiny and I actually expect him to be 3-betting with a pretty tihgt range here. I just raise flop and obv ge tthe rest of my stack in when given the chance.

Lets say dudester smooth calls. What do you do when a heart hits on the turn and you are now faced with a big bet?

I seem to waver between overly aggressive and overly passive in ring games, would folding to a heart and a big bet be weak here?

Yep agreed. I know what id do here with a donk whos range is massive, a cold call from a reg who could be easily on a draw and looking to invite someone else into the pot. My squeezing range here would be massive. It risky, thats a given.

Dudester raised, donk shoved. I love life :)

errr fwiw I mean something like 99 or 77 in my last post. 88 is about the only hand that makes sense if he goes for a ch-r here. JJ+ is reraising pf, and if he smooth called JJ or QQ I don't see him putting in that much action here, though it's possible I suppose. Tx isn't making this move either...still not sure about this one even if you did get the perfect results here.

^^ This. Your line is optimal against the exact hand dudester had, but against most other holdings, c/r (or b/3b) is the optimal play IMHO. You get protection and value: fish is stacking off here with his overpair a lot.

Yea but dosn't QQ attempt to isolate the fish as well ? My cold call can mean lots here, not just a hand as strong as i have, but a flush draw with overs ? I agree its risky, but its mixing up my play against a reg, and its crying weakness.

JJ+ reraises pf though, no?

Yes, if your opponent is on QQ he's going to ch-r most of the time (you look like you're on a scared JJ fwiw), but I rarely see him with an overpair here.

If he's a good regular, he reraises QQ pre, and probably JJ too as Chuck said. I don't hate your line per se, since you wanted the fish in and b/3b has him fold more often than ch/c/shove. It's just that apart from 88 or 44, I don't see dudester raising here since he doesn't have overpairs enough of the times to make giving a "freeish" card (to him) the right play most of the time.

Good as a mix up, bad as a standard line.
