Would love to get some feedback as to my play with this hand so far, and recommended action on the turn.

I would have Check/Folded the flop, with 5 other callers, one of them has to have the Ace. As played, fold the turn.

I disagree with this somewhat, I agree that another player has the ace but disagree with the check/fold.
Most if not all pro's will tell you that if you raise preflop, betting the flop has to be made(aka c-bet).
But this is an easy fold on the turn.

CB'ing in a 5 way flop is rarely advisable imo. If your the pf raiser with KK and you get 1-2 callers and Ace hits the flop, then yes I will more than likely throw out a cb there. But in a 5 way pot there's no way our KK is good here, especially with the all in and call on the turn. I'm done with this hand. Fold.

I think your preflop raise was too small. You have Ks at a .01/.02 ring table so chances are you'll get action no matter what you bet. Your job, as I see it, is to raise enough to reduce the field to 1 or 2 callers to give your Ks the best chance to win. I'd say a raise of .20 to .30 would have done just that. Then on the flop, a pot size bet is your best chance to a) represent the A and win the pot right there, b) know if you’re behind if you get called or raised, and c) eliminate any drawing hands. If you get called, a second bullet probably won’t do it so don’t bother, try to check it down to the showdown, if you can’t, just fold and save your money for another hand.

PF raise is fine at 6xBB. You want action it's just unfortunate you have a 5 way pot. Raising it 15xBB is gonna get no action at all imo.

Check/fold flop (too many opponents for cbet with the A on board). As played, fold the turn.

It's funny, it seems most of the time I get AA/KK I never get any callers. I figured my c-bet could help me determine where I stood with the hand, and I might just be able to take it down right there.

I probably would have called the all-in from the short stack, but when BlackSmitty called I figured I was surely beat. Turns out I would have won the hand, but I still think folding was the right move.

insolitude: folds
*** RIVER *** [5c 9d Ad 7s] [Ks]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
BlackSmitty: shows [Jd 2d] (high card Ace)

squirrelly2 collected $2.04 from pot

Jagsti, I see your point and under normal circumstances the 6XBB should be more than enough, but if you've ever played at the 1c/2c microstakes ring tables, you'll know that most of the players are extremely loose and will call with any two cards so reducing the field does require a bigger bet(unless you've managed to find a tight 1c/2c table, if it exists). Ok, maybe not raise 15XBB, but certainly 10XBB. I think the fact the 5 ppl called is unfortunate, but not uncommon - it's the way these tables play.

This is just based on my observations of playing at that level. The proper way of playing doesn't neccessarily fit well.

If you raise preflop and only get 1 or 2 callers then yes you should bet the flop usually, if he only got 2 callers with KK there's a decent chance no one has an ace. Against this many callers you have to check fold though since it's very very unlikely no one has an ace.
