re: Poker & KK with late postion caller...can I get away from this?
It would be pretty funny if he hit a backdoor flush or gutshot straight on the river, but i can't see that happening. If he flopped a set, then you should have checked turn. His lead out on the flop makes me think he probably had 7s or 8s (or 78...but that is a loose pf call even for him), then he just checked the turn because he knew you would bet. I can't see how he could be leading out/calling with a gutshot on the flop. But the post title kinda makes it hard not to respond with a results oriented post (as i presume you lose the hand).
I think i would check turn here since the board isn't overally drawy and like i said the flop/turn play would just be too bizzare (i would hope at least) to be on any draw...you've got to wonder why he would lead out when you raised PF and then why the hell would he call your reraise unless he had some sort of (non-drawing) hand.
Actually nvm just looked at stack sizes and yea if the last 12$ wasn't going in on the turn it was going in on the river so it was played alright.
