Hero bets $10, BTN raises to $27

Villain is 12/9 pretty bad reg. I really don't see folding this, but do we flat? What's our plan for the turn/river playing oop? I don't see stacking but 3-betting and folding seems to just turn our hand into a bluff. How do you proceed?

Since I completely suck at cash games, and am trying to learn to read cards better, I'm gonna take a shot... I would probably call if anything, just cause, the straight is out there. I'd be curious to see how he acts on the turn. If opponent had a set, I would think he would just call to try to get you to bet out again. Would he play A8 or A6 suited? maybe..., so he could just be pushing to protect his hand, hoping to hit his straight. He could have an over pair, which would be good for you...unless it's the aces of course. so calling wouldnt be that bad. Of course, If it was an actual situation of mine, I'd probably end up reraising to run into the aces, but then again...I SUCK at cash games.

I would flat here. Pretty gross flop for KK, but it's the kind of flop a lot of people will make plays on. I'd reevaluate the turn, most likely fold to the double barrel, but I'm not going to let him get away with cheap flop raise/bluffs. He's going to have to put in a decent chunk on the turn to do so

Ok, here's where I'm lost/Confused.

A) If we call this, and the turn brings out 3/8/7/6/2, or an Ace, what can we do now?

B) If we call this, and then what If turn say is like a Q. We what? Check?

If we do this then surely this person might fire again, and then what? We can't keep on calling, correct? Since this person then might realize there's some-cards we don't want to see, and also might realize that with the correct type of bet, we might fold our hand. I don't play at your level, not to mention I suck ass at cash, and that flop is so wet it's not even funny, but I would say Call this, and if turn is a "Safe Card", then seriously, bet that turn hard....

Quick question when you say someone is bad is he a type of player, that likes any 2 suited bad is he the type that like say hand like 6/3o 5/2s. If so then I'd say proceed with caution.

Sry if I can't help you out anymore then this

Probably cry if it's an A.

Nah he's pretty tight preflop (12/9) he just makes really really odd and spewy plays postflop that make no sense at all.

There's a lot more overpairs, 66, 67 and 65 in his range than sets and 2 pairs, right? Plus he knows your opening range totally missed that flop.

If you believe he's spewy post flop, i just play for stacks on this flop, tbh.

What hands besides AA/KK and sets would you take a bet/3b line with on this flop? 66?

It feels like we're turning our hand mostly face-up when we 3-bet, allowing him to play perfectly. And I'm not sure why we think an ace is such a bad card for us - or does he have a habit of raising rag flops with AJo?
