Considering there's only one hand that has you beat at this point the easy answer is yes. I'm personally kind of an instinctive player and when all else fails (stats, odds, etc.) I trust my gut. What I'm saying is that this is not necessarily an automatic call for me...

well the reason i'm asking is i just had my KK busted by pf shoves 2 times in 3 minutes by AA. i usually only see the shoves being low pairs & ak from more desperate stacks. with bigstacks is this almost always aa?

As Chuck might say, I think I call this approximately 100% of the time. Even if he is a big stack as you say shoving with AA is really a hugh donk play here. Actually a shove no matter what he has is a hugh donk play considering he's putting in $126 into a pot of $3. Makes no sense at all no matter what he has.

It seems to me there is more of a chance you are way ahead here than way behind.

Any reads on villan. Has he shoved before against a single raise? What is your image? Have you been raising with average hands preflop? Folding to big reraises? Not much information given but as is I guess I'm just not good enough to lay down KK here.

I would have to call easily, since it is not a tight player.

I agree with the call here, and also shoving $126 in a $3 pot is a donk play no matter what he has, as mentioned and explained by Mr snake.

In general I always call this with KK, particularly against a non rock, because worrying about AA will drive you insane. While he might have it (in that case so be it), you made a pretty standard 4BB raise here before his shove, there is no way he puts on KK right now. I think its pretty safe to agree with MR snake that you're more likely ahead than behind. He is more likely to have QQ, JJ rather than AA.

In general you have to be pretty dam sure he has AA to fold KK, and that is not the case here.

You say AA 2/3, but that's got to be short term bad luck. In the long run, I think you're up against
22-QQ : 60% of the time
KK : 5%
AA : 10%
AK : 10%
Other crap: 15%

Giving you weighted average odds of roughly 72% here. At even money or better pot odds, I take a deep breath, close my eyes and hit the call button.

using it to our advantage. first, the setup:

MissMiuMiu said, "ouch, set over set"

Sescho leaves the table
joosebucklol said, "vs you"

this person had just hit a 2 outer on me with all the money in for the 2nd time this session. so next, the bait:

I dont see QQ doing this at all. Hed have to be much more than "not a rock" to do with QQ. I mean just going all-in with no idea what you have!

I can definitely see a big stack do this with AA, AKs, and KK, the last two being more likely imo.

I've got a post here somewhere when someone re-reraised my aces (effectively going all-in preflop) with JJ. On similar limits. Of course, he hit a J on the flop..

If i ever have AA.... I want to be reraised....always. Because i'm going to isolate the person every time and i'm a huge favorite to win against 1 opponent. example: Live game $1/2NL i'm dealt the black aces. I raise to 17, and get a guy to come over the top for 50. I reraise him 100 straight and he pushes. At worst, i'm tied, and best i'm a 3:1 favorite. of course i call. He had kings btw. Aces NEVER want to see a flop with more than 2 people imo....which is why he pushed, I think. I'm fairly certain he was afraid of seeing a flop... so he bets 120$ into 3 dollars to just take it down..... kind of a bitch play, but i think you go broke here no matter what the pf action is.
