You played great because you checked on the turn disguising your 10, which your opponent couldn't put you on it. Also, as well as a good raise on the river as well as betting the flop with your draw.

Perfect!

Flop: Having everyone to check to you, you made a decent size semi bluff, you were PF raiser

Turn: You know he has something, the 10 in a sence hurt your hand because now if your OESD hits, when you bet it will be more OBV. what you have

River: Guess the 10 didnt hurt :) He bets $9 after playing it very passive and you raise big. Hes not going to put you on runner runner 10.

Well played, did he call?

I think the answer to whether he called or not will be dependant on his hand. The fact that he called your original raise would indicate that he will have one of the following hands.

A lower Full house ( Eg he had a nine and was slow playing ) - he will probably call but be disgusted with himself as he knows he played far far too slow. ( should have reraised the flop and/or bet the turn )

A Busted Straight/Flush draw - he will fold. ( he bet this as its the only way he can win the hand )

An Overpair - A good player will fold.

Same hand as you - he will re-raise you.

I estimate changes being circa ( lower full house - 15%, busted straight/flush - 60%, Overpair 15%, same as you - 10% )

hence I think a high chance that he folded.

A good player would have not of played it anything like this player on any street

Same hand as you - he will re-raise you.
The odds of runner runner case card are like what....i know its slim. Not a big deal because we will still get all the chips in, just wont be a happy outcome

I estimate changes being circa ( lower full house - 15%, busted straight/flush - 60%, Overpair 15%, same as you - 10% )
60%- 37% -1% - 2%, read my above thoughts
My thoughts

Well played BJ

Now, my turn to figure out what the villain has. Villain is 16/5/1.4, so he is not likely calling a 4XBB raise from the SB with 89, 9T, 8T or TJ. It is possible he is holding 99 for quads. The other possibility is he is holding 88 - makes sense since the villain seems passive and would prefer us to build the pot. The other hands we can put him on quite easily are JJ and JQ.

I will make my prediction JQ diamonds.

Given your thoughts on his range, what's the optimally sized river raise?

$16.50 + his $9 bet in the pot; he has $40.25 behind and I have him covered.

I would make it so he has $9 to call. He may then try the bluff. I think too much more he knows hes beat.

He's check-called you all the way, so he must have something. Also, folding an underfull is a pretty rare skill so I say push here. His $9 bet is pretty weak but I think he's folding to any raise except calling a push holding a 9.

Yep, I think I should have either pushed and made it look more like a bluff, or raised smaller... anyway, results: he folded.
