Whats a guy gotta do...

to get some replies?

Hand not interesting enough? I thought it was. We got some raising and re-raising. Do most people relate more to tourney hands or what? I am predominately a cash game player so these are the ones I usually post but no one ever replies.:(

If the hand seems standard to you, tell me that, tell me something!

Post a question? You just posted a hand history with your opponents' final decision missing. Do you want to know if you played it right? You said that the opponent bets whether he hits or misses, so he's either hit or missed. You've got most hands beat apart from Queens and Sevens, so depends how brave you are. On the balance of probabilities though, bearing in mind he could either have missed or hit a weaker hand, i'd play it to the end as you did, but if you're happy with your play, why question it?

Well my questions are: How would you play it? Do you think the re-raise was a good play? What about just calling the turn? Any worries about a check raise here? I'll try to be more specific in the future.

Raise a bit more pre-flop - JJ can be vunerable and you don't want to let people in cheaply - 3 x BB minimum... something nearer 5 x would be better at a loose table.

On the flop - well, if he has a Queen you're toast. I think I'd just call here, and try to keep the pot small. If you are going raise here, raise a bit bigger, say to 3. He could be on a draw, and even if he has a weak Queen he might fold.

He's still betting into you on the turn after you raised him - I might fold it here. What are you beating? JT, KT, AT, 98, not a big range.

I would check the river. I'm pretty sure you're losing here and you should give it up. Betting the pot might get him to fold QJ or some such hand, but it's a bluff rather than a value bet. If he can't beat a pair of Jacks, he's unlikely to call your bet anyway.
