the game is 2/5 dollar;
I was the button with Jc 5c, and the cut off bet to 10. I called and both blinds folded. Comes on the board:
6c Qc Ad
The guy bets right away 15. Im thinking ok he could have an ace, but it could be a good ace, weak ace, maybe he wanted the blinds... He probably hit the flop but Im not sure how strong he is. Considering the pot thats already there I would probably either call or raise this. I raised it because I know that a loott of the time he is beating me but I can make him fold his hand, and if he just calls I still got some tricky club outs he might not expect. If he calls my raise then ok I know where I stand and I can still catch. I raised him to 45, he thought for a bit and folded.
What do you guys think of the play?
Was it well thought out or would you do something different?

Preflop I fold unless we're deep and villain is fishy, meh if villain absolutly abhorrent I may call 100bb deep.

The flop play looks fine. Should help get your future value raises more action as well.

i would 3bet preflop, just because would mot have this flush draw would you raise him on the flop, it's just a bad hand u must just represent a bigger hand by 3betting and take the agreswsion away from him.

I like your play a lot better than my usual in that spot. Sometimes I get to feeling lucky and try to set a trap. I would be thinking "Well he gave me close to 3-1 to see the turn... maybe I should take the odds and see if my flush hits" Then I play off the turn... But due to the bet size he might have the flush draw too. He isn't obviously pushing you off it strongly, he might not feel threatened by it hitting at all (KQc). So I like your play to win the pot right there. Also micromoi above who I think is saying take the lead pre-flop and go for the win on the flop when the scare card /Ace comes. Either way you know the price isn't right for your flush so if it hits thats gravy but you won't know where you stand with it if he shoves. +1 for winning the pot before this gets messy

%100 fold pre and flop. It's just another $5 and he might just be stealing the blinds doesn't warrant a call with J5. Flop move is bad with nothing but a back door flush draw and without further reads.
