Does villain, who is shortstacked, have a flush/trips here often enough to shove or just call? I'm cool paying off the royal.

Or is this Zeebo, where my boat really isn't that strong on this board?

Your definitely good, I think he probably has a king, and instead of shoving I might value raise, cause I want him calling with his lesser hands (i.e. trip kings, flush, or a striaght) and not folding thinking I have him beat. I am never getting away from a boat especially when there are so many possibilities for weaker hands.

to me it looks like he has a monster.. idk but he already pushed all in so u can't reraise. A fold would look like the right move here unless he is an aggressive player.

Did you have any reads on the villian? without reads I probably just call to save when I am behind.

It really is a value raise as he only has $16 behind.

I was afraid of the flush/straight/Royal.

It's a definite leak as I always think they have the flush.

Sorry I mssed that he was a short stack, I have no problem going broke with a set to short stack. Also like C9 said, bet the turn like a man ;)

I have no problem getting everything in if he has 200BBs let alone 50. Stop being so damn passive (afraid of the Royal???wtf?). You have a monster hand, put your chips in the middle!

That was just a joke. I'm all for paying off the Royal anyway. Note: I got it in.

I think there are too many hand he could have to not put it in. I have lost with AT on a AATJ3 board to AJ and also with TT on a 3Q36T board to QQ just today. It happens but you can't fold in these spots you just got to suck it up even when you lose two buy-ins in an hour with the 2nd nut fh.

^ this

going out on a limb here and assuming he actually *had* the royal (hence this got posted).

Don't second guess yourself. I'm going to pay off a royal when I have a boat every.single.time. And it's not going to bother me in the slightest.

He did not have a Royal. I posted this elsewhere and someone said they liked the turn check. Turn completes both QT and flush draw and he will fold all kings except AK if I bet.
