Trying to outfox the Tenbob was mistake number one.

if you are wearing any clothing while playing in a cc ring game, that's also a mistake.

Here are a few...

1. calling 24 soooooted from the SB to a 4 X BB raise
2. betting 1/4 of the pot on the flop with TPTK. You need to price out the draws - everyone has odds to call here.
3. betting same $$ on the turn when it wasn't enough on the flop
4. slow playing TPTK

The team I was betting on was a mistake

One mans mistake can be seen as another mans good fortune.

Chris should not have folded preflop, you missed that one misch.

I actually don't mind TB's call PF; I gamble alot more in rings - especially when I'm playing at stakes way below what my normal BR would allow. He's going against two very ABC-style players in dakota and tim. No offence to either of you but in my experience, both of you play a pretty standard TAG style. Nothin wrong with that.

They're both tight, I know tim's selective-aggressive and I rarely see him raise without a premium hand, so if TB flops a very disguised hand or draw he could either get payed off big (see above) or push tim off with a bet on a rag flop if he thinks tim's got big cards which missed.


I won't argue with calling PF being a mistake though.

1) TB's call PF
2) Tim's tiny flop bet (thought he might have trips here)
3) Tim's turn call from a very TAG player in TB
4) Tim's river call - BAD BAD BAD

Most glaring is Jessie betting $.50 PF - a min-reraise from the SB with A8os with a raise and a call ahead of her. Fold, call or push here with her stack. With a small stack I would fold here since she is OOP. This left her $.70 to bet on the flop which everyone who called PF now has odds to call. With 2 others in the pot, odds are one of them had a Q, so she was going to be behind (which she was). Lucky for Jess, she had the lone A which she caught on the turn.
