Id just like to see what you guys think of the line I took in this hand.

Merge Network.

3/6 NLH 700 effective each.

Hero: BB 10s10d
Villain: SB XX

Preflop: Villian raises to 14
Hero raises to 48
Villain calls

Flop: 9c6s2h
Hero bets 54
Villain raises to 120
Hero clicks it back to 186
Villain Folds

I figured id click it back for a few reasons, i understand he has air so often here, but then again if i flat and check turn and he checks behind hes getting two free cards AND my hand is pretty defined as far as having showdown value (virtually no draws on board besides 78). And i figured were on a level where clicking it back might induce a spazz or a float.

I rarely, if ever take this sort of line.. but in the midst of the action it just came to me and i felt this was best.

Any thoughts or opinions regarding would be greatly appreciated. Also, hypothetical situations can be discussed.

How is he going to check behind the turn when he's in the SB and we're in the BB? We're in position.

I moved this to cash game hand analysis which is why it is not in the usual format.

Scourrge this is 2 handed play.

I 3ball a little bigger if that's the line I'm taking, unless he thinks we can click it back as a pure bluff. The idea would be to set up a turn shove (for either him or us) that isn't quite that large if he does happen to flat. The reraise itself is fine barring any actual information on the player.

Clicking it back is fine if you feel he is going to spazz out a lot but based on your rationale, you're doing it to fold out his air.

Ah yes, my mistake. I need to make it a rule to never reply to HH's in the early morning (especially after only sleeping 4 hours :D)

I don't think I can say much about 3/6 HU, but if you feel he's capable of spazzing when given the chance, clicking it back is fine, but I think I'd typically go larger too.
