...maybe I should have pushed on the turn rather than string it out for more money. On the other hand, there was only one card in the deck that could possibly beat me so I figured I was safe.

Relevant Info:

About 25-30 hands into session
Villian is very tight player, playing only top 10 hands and folding to most bets

Raise/fold preflop. You should (almost) never limp when you're the first person entering a pot at 6-max. Your preflop call of the raise is probably just on the wrong side of marginal too considering that you give Villain such a small range (perhaps implied odds say otherwise, I'm not sure).

Rest is fine.

The limp in:Wanted to see a cheap flop at a table with little action.

The call:If I could hit my hand, the payoff would be nice, especially against this fellow.

Ugh, I hate the limp call preflop. If you raise you take the initiative and you're in a good spot to pick up the pot without hitting the board.

Why do you push the river?

Shouldnt knowing this information have you folding in an instant? You already know he's got you covered.

If you've got him on a top ten hand, then are you not scared by the board pairing? If he has a pocket pair, any 9, A, Q, J or case K on the river would also have you beat....

I don't see anything wrong with the turn raise, I might pump it to $20 though, make it appear more like an attempt at the pot. As it happens he fancies the re-draw so I think he would call the turn push anyways.

I agree with "Raise/Fold". But if you must limp, certainly fold K8s to a 4x BB raise from a tight player. Give him your 50c and play on.
