Me and my bud hit the casino last night and were playing $1-$3 nL holdem.

Im sitting with about $100 worth of chips and i'm in the small blind. I'm dealt 3 4 of spades and I call the other two of my blind. Flop comes King, 8, and 2, all spades.

I make a strong pot size bet, three guys fold, then another doubles my bet. I put the guy on a pair of Kings, maybe two pair. Turn card comes a blank and I check it. He makes a bet and I immediately go all in. He turns over 7 2 of spades.

Should I have folded this hand once I was reraised?

I don't think so, why play 34 suited if you fold when you make your hand. But I think it was a mistake to go all-in on the turn. Didn't you think he might have a flush as well, in which case it's guaranteed to be a better one?

If we tell you it was ok to fold the flush, then he shoulda folded the flush too.

I would have just slowed everything as much as possible. Unless he is crazy, you should realize he probably wouldnt be pushing so hard with just 1 pair with 3 flush cards on the board. You know the flush would scare him, unless he had a better flush.

No... but I would have checked to him on the turn and river and let him make his bets, and called them.

I did check to him on the turn. Keep in mind I had about $100 worth of chips. After the flop I had about half of it commited. I checked to him on the turn he bet about half of what I had left. Knowing I'd have to call the rest off anyway i just moved the rest in there.

And yea he was a donk. He was the second to act after the big blind and was playing 7 2, so that tells it all right there. I was worried he had it too, but just couldnt get away from it vs this guy.

people play pretty crazy at 1/2 (or 1/3 in this case)....i've heard it being compared to 1c/2c at PS :/ I mean just look at the hand he's holding...
I definitely would have gotten all my money in hoping he's holding a set or two pair.

I concur to folding on the re-raise. If you hadnt been in the SB folding pre-flop would have been the best.
