no, he had JK, just saying that some of the players there are predictable enough to the point where you can call all in with pocket 4's with TTQ on the board

Dont care for a pre flop raise here in the SB. Maybe in a later position. He also made a bad call here pre flop with JK, especially seeing that you raised from the SB

well i figured what he had from how he was playing before, i was actually thinking something like AQ cause he was a total fish whod chase gutters

You figured you were drawing to 2 outs so you called? Do you mean AK or AJ? Villain had been limping with AJ-AK first in the pot? Even if you're right about villain having AJ, that's still 20/44 outs, so you'd have to be awfully sure. Only way this is a call is if you know villain won't push trips or top pair on paired board. I'm guessing that's what your read was, not AQ. I hope.

Agreed, moving up stakes is really the only way for you to get better and make more money at the same time. Who plays 10$ NL anyways, yeesh.

bought in for $3, and yeah i did mean AK/AJ

i fold a lot, i'm by no means a calling station, i folded AA on the flop not too long after, and the player showed a set
