I'm playing in a NL Holdem $.10/$.25. Six players at the table. Minimum buy in is $10. I'm in the CO. The guy directly to my right raises to .85 from .25. He is the only player at this table that seems to know how to play. We are both sitting between $30 and $35 dollars, so we have both won quite a bit.

I have noticed throughout the night that he raised to .85 several times, but every time he was pushed back at with a reraise or a bet on the flop, he had folded almost every time. So I think he is just trying to steal blinds. I'm sitting on A6s, so I reraise back into him, make it 1.75. Everyone from me to him folds. He reraises me back to 2.00 even. This is a really really strange raise to me. Obviously I'm not folding over .30, so I call.

Flop comes up A 6 5 rainbow. Now I'm sitting on top two pair. I'm reading him for QJ, KQ or mid pp, and he tried to steal with it. I check, he raises to the pot, I shove. He takes the full allotted time, plus all of his time bank, and calls, showing pocket Ks. Turn and river comes up another 5 and a 2. I take it down.

Obviously, my read was wrong, but I had the cards to back up a call if I think he is stealing, then his reraise preflop is almost nothing. The only actual choices I had to make in this hand was whether or not to fold when he raised to .85 preflop, and then how to play my top two pair ATF. Then he acts all pissy and says I'm a fool and horrible and such. I'm sure it's just being mad at losing $30+ in one hand of low blinds, but if I'm betting back into him during preflop, and an Ace comes up on the flop, how does he call a push? I just don't see it? Anyone think I played this poorly in anyway? Think he did?

Sorry I can't post the HH, but full tilt went to maintenance, and my entire 4 hours session isn't saved, sadly.

You spiked the flop after a retardedly stupid sized 3-bet that you were always going to call, he makes a decent sized 3-bet you fold this never happens, no fault of yours you were paying attention to his betting pattern which gives you extra marks, nothing bad about the play mate just lucky, and really stupid play his side. Hope you keep getting lucky buddy :).

Assuming he raised to 0.85 preflp here (you don't explicitly state it), and you raise to 1.75, that's a 0.90 raise on your part. How can he raise to 2.00? It'd need to be to at least 2.65.

^^^this. You are either misremembering or playing on a site that doesn't follow the rules of poker.

Also, if he folds his steals to a reraise but this time he three bets, how are you still putting him on a steal? Doesn't make any sense.

If i've just taken a guy for his $30 stack, he can call me all the names he wants thank you very much. Happiest thing in poker is someone slagging you off when you've just done them.

HH is obviously confused, but it's up to you how much you call preflop - post flop it's up to him whether he calls or not - maybe he thought you were betting too much to actually have the goods? I wouldn't care what he thought.

Well you mention it is on full tilt so the raise was certainly not to $2.00. Even it was a min raise of .90 into 3.75 you still should probably call. You will be in position and have a suited A, could be worse. That said I think this play(min 3 bet) usually signals strength at this level.

The guy directly to my right raises to .85 from .25.
I reraise back into him, make it 1.75.
He reraises me back to 2.00 even.

This is impossible. Post your hand history as you are misrepresenting the hand.
He raised it an additional $.60.
You re-raised it an additional $.90.
He re-raised it an additional $.25. His minimum raise here is $.90.

But just calling his minimum raise here is fine, to see a flop.
And with two-pair and a wild player, shoving is acceptable.

He's just PO'd that he fell in love with his pocket pair and couldn't let go. The long wait before making the call probably means he knew it was a dangerous call. Those comments he made were because he was mad at himself, not with your move.
