Tonight I was playing at one of the local casinos that I frequent for a little $3/$6 Limit Hold'em with a kill. I've been running extremely well the last week hitting 2 high hand bonuses for $200 and $100 respectively, and up $650 total. So I was hoping to continue my luck tonight. And the casino just added a mini-bad beat bonus for Aces full beaten. (The winning hand and losing hand split the bonus, no money for the rest of the players at the table.) When I checked the board last week, it was up around $1500.
After sitting for about a 1/2 hour or so mostly mucking hands down $20, I finally got a good starting hand, AA's UTG. So here is the basic hand history:
SB posts $1
BB posts $3
Mo (UTG) raises to $6
Everyone folds back to the SB
SB calls $5 more
BB folds
Flop:

(Royal Flush draw on the board)
SB bets $3
Mo calls $3

SB bets $6
Mo calls $6

SB checks
Mo bets $6
SB calls $6
Mo shows Aces full of Queens
SB says, "That's no good."
Mo says, "YES!!! Show me the winner!!!" And jumps from his seat doing a dance!
SB shows Quad Queens
Mo says, "YES!!! Bad beat bonus!"
Table says, "Uh Mo, check the board. It got hit a few days ago. It's only $77 now."
Mo says, "DAMN!!!"

Oh well, I guess $39 is better than nothing. Unfortunately that was the only hand that I won any money on tonight. I guess my run of luck had to end at some point.

I think the SB was giving me a break by not check-raising with his quads, since he was getting so much bonus cash. He got $110 for his Quad Queens. The casino also has a second choice bonus if you hit 2 bonuses during the same session. The second choice bonus was $105. So he took that instead of his half of the $77 bad beat bonus. So he made an extra $215 in bonuses + the pot.

Nice. Can't believe he didn't at least milk a few more bets out of you there. He could have at least got your $18 profit from the jackpot. Real nice guy.

Do you actually think a $3 raise on the flop or a $6 raise on the turn is going to get him off a set of Q's? And if he flopped a flush, why would I want to raise with second best hand?
With him leading out all the way, I have to assume he has a flush and hope to make a boat by the river, which luckily and unluckily I did.
I'm pretty sure I lost the minimum on this one.

^^^ Thats not the point, your looking at that hand after seeing the results. Im sure everyone here will tell you, you need to raise that flop and turn. If you flop a set of aces, you have to assume your ahead and make villain pay. They could easily have a,k a,q a,t q,t t,t q,q k,x j,x k,k j,j kd,x or j,x. All of those are in villains range, so we need to be extracting value from all of those by raising.

Just because he led out on the flop, it doesnt mean he has a flush, he could have a huge range of hands.

I can't believe villain didnt re raise pre flop either with pock queens
