Now this move was a high risk move, but I'll let u all into my thought process and you all tell me, if i'm looking at everything in a wrong manner or if i'm on track.
1) I like to see alot of flops, so raises really don't mean that much to me at, all, (just to let you all know before hand), I realize that ppl raise alot in 6 max, and I also realized that just because they raise doesn't mean they really have anything but 2 cards, and are looking to A)bluff me, or B) hit and then stack
2) Now lets look at his preflop raise, and his raise on the flop, A) It doesn't add up to me, what I mean is if he had a big hand, AA,KK,QQ, AK, this flop isn't good for you unless you and the diamond draw with it, correct? Now if he had the diamond draw with this, would he have bet so much? No not really! because he'd want to get me to stack against him with a weaker diamond got what I mean? His raise here felt to me as a protecting my hand type of raise or a feeler type of raise, or a continuation bet (whichever one you choose doesn't matter)
3) Now on to the turn the diamond card I was actually hoping to hit, the reason I was hoping for this was, this card is the only card that scares of anyone with a big Pair with no diamond, and this is the best chance to make my move. His bet to me was just a bet to see if I was alittle tooken back by the 4th flush card out, and it was as if to say, hey, i'm calling you if you push type of a bluff attempt against me (I hope you all still follow)
Which is why I did what I did, and called his bluff
Even though I won the pot, i'm wondering if I went about this correctly, and if I should just stop with these high risk bluffs all together or what?
