How fast were you playing before this hand to make him give you all of his chips? Why does this stuff never happen to me?

Very slow and tentative. I probably gave it a good 10 seconds before I bet the flop.

What the hell was Black_Willow thinking when he/she called your raise with Q, 9?! Not to mention with 2 Kings and no diamonds showing on the flop.

Oh, Ah.... I played a medium tight game. maybe saw the flop 25% and pretty much never bet out of position.

I have to agree with triel.. what were they thinking when they called your bet on the flop?.. No pair, no straight draw, no flush draw, no card in their hand that can beat a king,...

The only thing I can think of at best.. the person didn't think you had trips.. cause it is a low % to have them... So put you with the 2.. his 2 cards beat a 2.

Where you got that person was the check on the turn(sign of weekness you used to your advantage) wonderful play there...so that made him think you had Kings and 2's... lol then you nailed the crap out of him.

I tend to be very suspicious of anyone who bets out with a pair on the flop. The usual play would be a check raise. Since I led out pre flop I'm sure he thought I was stabbing at the pot. The small bet followed by my check on the turn convinced him of this.

LOL then why the heck is he calling you with Q,9..off suit at that..ooh thats right the call cause it is suited cards syndrome..

Even when I tend to see 2 pair on the board, I will slow down.. Yet I still don't see the call on the flop by him.. 6 cards to come for what..Possibly also hoping for runner runner flush?

Lets just say you did have a pair.. 10's JJ's QQ's KK's and AA's destroy his 9..

It all brings me to my wonderful question "If you won't raise pre-flop then why call a raise pre-flop?".. Then never took any command of the hand at all(that was his downfall).. oh he did but at the end where you had him..

Still I know I make dumb dumb mistakes but he ranks right up there with me.

Good hand all around.
