I strongly disagree. Granted, you've flopped trips, but thats by no means a nut had - there's still a straight out there, as well as the potential for someone to boat out on any card. I think it is far better to take down the pot just as you did. You've got to push any drawing hand out of the way, otherwise if they hit you're going to be betting/calling on a dead hand.
Better to win the small pot than lose the big one.
Oh, and in case no-one else said it - Q3 preflop, even from the SB, is a questionable play. Out of position with weak cards, be glad you could even win the pot at all.
