Long story short, the person in this hand, is tight, but he is also has been making alot of moves with his mid pairs, and showing his semi bluffs, and bragging about how he could out bluff the majority of this table, plus, he and I got into it acouple of times, where he showed a boat, so keep this in mind, but those hands, were on another table against the same player, but, Now on to the hand itself my question is what could I have done to not get myself into a messy situation, I mean, should I bet bigger preflop? what should I do, so I don't have to make these difficult decisions, ty all. Should we also put him on the boat, or the flush?

1) Never tell him your hole cards.
2) This is kinda nit-picky but bet closer to pot on the flop ($0.55 sounds good). Not because you want him to fold, but just because you want value for your hand & its hard to build a pot OOP.
3) I snap call his turn shove. Your turn bet is pretty small (90 into 152), and we have outs even if he does have a flush/set.

Lets say his range is AK, KQ, KJ, 99, 44, and QdTd, JdTd, QdJd, AdJd, AdQd, AdTd, 8d7d. So none of these are bluffs, at all. Just flushes, trips, and boats.

Hand 0: 43.419% { AsKs }
Hand 1: 56.581% { 99, 44, AKs, AdQd, AdJd, AdTd, KJs+, QdJd, QdTd, JdTd, 8d7d, AKo, KJo+ }

We own 43.4% of the equity in this pot (or we're a 1:1.2 underdog). We're getting (3.27+3.11)/3.11 or ~2:1 on our call. We must stack off here. Add in some times when he does this with air, and we REALLY must stack off here.

Don't second guess yourself & get the money in! From the sound of it, he showed up with the goods here, and you couldn't hit your outs. Bummer. Sometimes people show up at the top of their range, and you just have to pay them.

I'd have to call here as well. Even if you're behind, which you may not be, you're not far behind, and you're getting good odds for the call (previous post).

Ya I figured that when I was getting about 2.1 on the call, not to mention seeing him do these types of moves on previous hands, that I had to call regardless, but the thing that still bothers me, is the fact, that I actually conteplated on folding the hand it-self, and if you look I raised like 5xBB, and still got him to call me, so maybe a bigger raise is in order (I really don't know)

I'll give this player enough credit, had he not shown his tendancy to bluff with mid pairs, this call would've been much harder to make, not to mention the fact that he played, his mid pairs, and boats all alike, made it that much tougher, but knew it had to be either or
