I see a lot of hand histories on CC, but it's a little hard to sift through the information sometimes, the hand histories look a little messy sometimes.

Instead of this:

Personally I perfer the first one, mainly because i can copy them into PT to get some more edges on you guys. But I agree the second one is the way we should be posting hands.

Maybe when the new HA sections are up and if we have a HA Mod then we can enforce it a little better.

Certain converters won't work on CC (as illustrated above^^^).

I sometimes use this converter with FlopTurnRiver format. I really don't know shit about html format and all that bunk, so I'm not sure what other ones work here.

Every time I try to use that one Chuck I get an error message. Apparently copying the HH and pasting it in the box is not sufficient.

hi,
just a question here.

Is there any program that we can input our hand history and it re-runs them? what i meant is the program plays the hand history like a video.

Pokertracker does this, as does PokerOffice.

I by FAR prefer the original pasted from PS or Full Tilt (bodog is ugly though)

I don't need a whole sentence to tell me what you were dealt, when I can jsut look inside of the brackets. Also, I know where the co, sb, bb, d, utg, .etc are without them having to make EVEN MORE sentences. Annoying as HEEEEl.

Since in almost all situations the pot size is one of the largest determining factor in a poker decision, it absolutely sucks having to sum up the pot size manually for each street. Especially when we're dealing with no-limit tables and people bet weird amounts.

No, this is a no-brainer for me. I have no reason to want to sift through 40 lines of text when it can be summed up in 20, with nicer formatting. Of course I know "where" the CO, SB, BB etc. are - but with the converted format, I don't have to scroll back up to see what position Aces_full133334 is in.

If that isn't enough of a reason, the countless times people respond to a hand analysis thread saying "fold" because they can't see that hero has a flush on a [6s 9c 2c Qh Qc] board and think he's wondering if he should raise with ace-high, should be enough.

I've never understood why people prefer raw format. I don't get the masochism.

I like the brevity of the converted hand, but I would prefer that each bet/fold postflop be on it's own line.

I also like the fact that positions are obvious, and I like the anonymity. If someone makes a really bad play, I don't need to be broadcasting their id to all the internet.

I agree with you about the pot size. But I find it easier to follow the action in raw format. Maybe someone needs to come up with a converter that integrates the best of both the raw format and the current converter formats. Any programmers in the house?

Unfortunately the FlopTurnRiver site is pretty unreliable, and doesn't support some sites, tournament hands, Omaha hands etc.

This converter is good for posting on other websites, but the 2+2 output doesn't work with this site. The best thing would be if this site could be tweaked to support that format. Or make this site support the HTML output. Currently displays like this:

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
10 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $90.20
UTG+1: $126.00
UTG+2: $145.50
MP1: $100.00
MP2: $123.45
MP3: $144.85
CO: $101.65
Hero: $114.30
SB: $9.00
BB: $89.25

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is Button with 7:club: 7:heart:
6 folds, [color:#cc0000]CO raises to $3, Hero calls, SB folds, [color:#cc0000]BB raises to $10, CO calls, Hero calls.

Flop: J:club: 2:heart: 7:diamond: ($30.5, 3 players)
[color:#cc0000]BB bets $15, CO calls, Hero calls.

Turn: 3:spade: ($75.5, 3 players)
[color:#cc0000]BB bets $15, CO calls, [color:#cc0000]Hero raises to $40, BB folds, [color:#cc0000]CO raises all-in $60.65, Hero calls.

River: 2:spade: ($211.8, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $211.8)

Results:
Final pot: $211.8
[color:#ffffff]CO shows QC QD
[color:#ffffff]Hero shows 7C 7H

How cool would this be?

You open up a post and see an animated replay of the hand in question! If that's what we're talking about, it would awesome and way ahead of other forums.
