This is a tough one, but I think I call too. AA, KK, QQ, AK should have all raised you preflop. He might have KQ or AX.

Hmm. Once he re-raises, don't you pretty much HAVE to be beat? Gah, I don't know, maybe he's an idiot.

Depends on your read on him... he can be making a play with 10 j diamonds or clubs or maybe 77. I can't see him with any other hand really... maybe QK makes sense. But I do think you do have to make the call 2 pair with the flush draw... even if he has you beat you have enough outs to still win the hand. It's not quite the right pot odds to make the call with the draw, but when you add in the 2 pair you already have and how you may already have him beat? Getting about 3.6:1 on the flush draw isn't that far out of line.

I'm not sure about raising the river, and if you DO raise, I like a smaller raise.

As played, fold. He has JT/77 here just about always

There are no more cards to come on the river!

I suppose I was hoping he had a worse 2 pair, i.e. KQ, A7, or AQ to split. Couldn't put him on AK. A set is possible but unlikely since I flopped 2 pair. JT is one I didn't think about but fits pretty well.

I'm getting 4:1 on a call on the river so only have to win 20% of the time.

I probably call river, though it does seem a little weak. Raise to $12 or so if you're going to raise though - your raise to $16 makes your decision really tough if he does shove, because you're giving yourself very good odds to call. A $12 raise accomplishes just about everything a $16 raise does, but it also makes it a lot easier to fold if you are shoved.

Given that you did raise to $16, it's probably still a fold because unless villain is an idiot I can't see anything we're beating here.

If I have a worse 2 pair, I consider folding the river to your raise. I can't imagine a worse 2 pair actually re-raising this river. There will be rare cases where the guy is a complete doofus, but I really don't think we win even 20% of the time.
