I think it was Stu Ungar who said the test of a great player is whether they can fire the second bullet. Well this one kind of went wrong. I have tens as outs. Would you fire again on the river? For all I know he could have been on a diamond or straight draw. I couldn't put him on a King - wouldn't he bet the flop or raise? Hmmm. Pocket pair unlikely... was almost tempted to call on the river and hope he flips up 6♦8♦, although the range I beat is admittedly pretty small.

Seat 2: Bombjack_x [ J♥,9♣ ] ($126.05 in chips)
Seat 5: Mr. beanbag ($76.95 in chips)
Seat 8: AAAA7846 ($13.85 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
AAAA7846 posts blind ($0.25), Bombjack_x posts blind ($0.50).

PRE-FLOP
Mr. beanbag folds, AAAA7846 calls $0.25, Bombjack_x bets $1, AAAA7846 calls $1.

FLOP [board cards Q♠,K♦,5♦ ]
AAAA7846 checks, Bombjack_x bets $1.50, AAAA7846 calls $1.50.

TURN [board cards Q♠,K♦,5♦,7♠ ]
AAAA7846 checks, Bombjack_x bets $3, AAAA7846 calls $3.

RIVER [board cards Q♠,K♦,5♦,7♠,K♣ ]
AAAA7846 checks, Bombjack_x bets $6, AAAA7846 bets $7.85 and is all-in, Bombjack_x folds.

You mean a short stacks are less likely to be on draws? Why does their stack size matter?

If the villan is committing a large portion of their stack to calling you, its unlikely that the villan is going to fold, since he's pot committed. Don't bluff people who are pot committed, since they're calling no matter what.

Also, if its just another 2$ to call, I think you have to make a crying call here. He may be trying to salvage his broken draw with an all in bet. Plus, if you make a bet that is 6 of his 7 remaining dollars, you have to be willing to call when he goes all in. A smaller bet might have been a better choice if you are going to fire on the river. Since you're hoping he has a broken draw, 1-2$ should get him to fold.
