Hi there, here's the first hand I'd like to ask about. I have a bunch of questions regarding this hand as I find these decisions hard to make.

1. What do you guys take into account when in this position? For me, it occurred to me that I was raising UTG, and that should mean I'm strong, right? But what would you do in this spot against different players? If he was really tight, is that an automatic fold? When do you just call the 3bet and then play post flop vs. getting it in pre?

Firstly I think your initial pre-flop bet was a little low. Any suited AX hand or suited connectors may feel they're getting good value to see you to a flop. These players are generally pretty tight, so if you want to squeeze (not just with this hand), you probably need to apply a little more pressure. These are all nut-peddling fish, pretty much.

Secondly, as all of these players in the small sample size you've presented are fairly tight, when somebody 4 bets over you preflop it's just screaming strength. Player 8 actually has fairly okay stats, but his 3B is just 2%. Ask yourself what you think he is shoving with on the 4B?

Play 1: Bet higher for squeeze. If eV is good, call his 3B for a flop knowing you're probably behind or a coin flip to AK.

Play 2: Bet how you did and call his first raise. If you 3B him here you're either going to have to shove or fold. With his range you know it's at best a coin flip.

Just my two cents. :)

WHen we 4bet and he re-raises us.. We can't feel good and we have to let it go.

Sometimes I just flat 3bets with QQ and AK nowadays, all depends on the opponent we are playing.
