The overbet was a tad overboard saying call me cause I don't have a hand which is my reasoning of why he called.

My thoughts exactly! Tried it again when I flopped trip sevens a few hands later, as a double-bluff, but he didn't call.

I don't know about the raise on the turn but as soon as he called I knew you were in for a big pot. Nicely played.
