Do you check this? or bet it? I used to almost always check in this situation, but at this limit Ive seen people call with almost anything. This guy has been a calling station and I think about tossing another bet out here, but I would hate to lose him. Also, another question. What do you think of my raise on the flop?? I was just trying to see where I was in the hand. I put him on two high cards. If he had repopped me I would have folded but do you think I should have raised more or maybe flat called that??

I think your flop play was very good not only for information purposes. He could have folded since his bet might have been a c-bet, and you could have tooken it down right there.

I don't think you should check this turn. He checked to you because you raised him on the last street, and he called your raise. You should bet for value here and you probably will get a call because he must have something that is keeping him in this hand (flush draw? Qx?). Pot is $5.50 you should bet about 1/2 pot size.

A check here has the advantage of maybe making him bet on the river thinking he can take this pot. But I wouldn't go this route, I'd rather bet the turn because if you don't make bets too big he is likely to check your hand, unless he is on a flush draw and misses the river. Keep in mind that in that case if you don't bet the turn you will fail to make a penny from this pot.

I would check here. If he bets on the river you check raise and if he checks make the bet like $3.

Bet about $2. It just a little more than you bet last time but not enough for him to fold. If he raises, call.

As per Joe - you have to bet now to get maximum value for his flush draw. a 1/2 pot bet will make it morth his while to stay in if he has that.

W.r.t the flop raise - You raised 1/2 pot, I would have doubled the pot, I think this tells you better where you are and also gives fyou the chance to win the hand.
