Oh of course, ive been playing very tight, whereas my opponent is a mix of loose/shortstack betting. Aggressive after flops from what few hands ive seen.

I don't know if he is a strong or weak player but it looks like he is putting you on a continutation bet with AK and is tryign to get you of the hand.

i woulda waited longer to post results.

despite the confusion of the description "my opponent is a mix of loose/shortstack betting", i guess it means he's not tight. given that it's blind vs. blind, just one over on the board, the description, and that he's so short that he only has $40-something behind after his minraise, putting him in seems fine to me. again it's BvB so your range ought to be quite wide and he can think a lot of pairs are good or maybe be pushing with JT/KJ/KT

alpersado, he'd only have $40-something behind after you call.. he doesn't have enough to make another big bet ;)

Poker is a popular type of card game in which players bet on the value of the card combination in their possession, by placing a bet into a central pot. The winner is the one who holds the hand with the highest value according to an established hand rankings hierarchy, or otherwise the player who remains "in the hand" after all others have folded.
