What do you do? NL 2-5, my stack is $500.

In the big blind with 4d2d, UTG raises to $10, folds around, Seat 7 calls, folds to me and I call $5.

Flop comes 6d,5d,Jd....I lead out for $40. UTG folds, Seat 7 thinks for a bit and then goes over the top all-in for $520.

???

you have the lowest possible flush with an inside strt flush draw, and you have to think about it? am i seeing this right? i dont mean this to criticize. im just trying to be clear. i dont see how you can even for a second not fold this.

You could think about calling, but you shouldn't. Even if he has like Ad Jc, he still has a good chance to outflush you!

This is a fistpump call every time. His range is so much higher here then flushes its not even close.

Fold preflop.

What do you know about your opponent? If he'll only do this with a made flush fold, otherwise I call every time assuming I am properly rolled to take the hit should a 4th diamond hit the board. As you've stated you're a big favorite unless he has a bigger flush, so you should "gamble" with the odds in your favorite.

Opponent is tight, but not a rock. My thoughts when he goes over the top:

(1) He has a set and doesn't want to see another diamond.
(2) He has two pair and doesn't want to see another diamond.
(3) He has the A of diamonds and he is trying to push me off my hand.

I really don't credit him with top pair, or open ended straight draw as he is relatively tight. I don't give him AA,KK,QQ as I would have expected a re-raise, not a call preflop. Also, I don't see a huge push with the overpair.

The only hand that beats me is a higher flopped flush, which IMO is ridiculous to be scared of given the range that might make this move, plus the low probability of two flopped flushes.
