well everything is fine but what the hell are you doing raising pre-flop that early of a position.

No, standard. PF is loose, but if whatever.

Hide results next time.

well i mean it's 6 max it allows you to play looser...and raising UTG usually reps strength so it could be easier to pull off a bluff later in the hand

but yes onto the hand standard play just unlucky

I have no problem with your raise Preflop. Any 2 cards, and you gain information from a caller or a reraise. No problems there.

What I do have a problem with is getting it all in after the flop. People online will chase 1 card flushes (with an A or K) after the flop like no other. It's a horrible play on their part, but what can ya do?

Personally if that were me I would've just called the raise instead of coming back over the top on that flop. Lets see a turn card and go from there. You already know your ahead and the way he is playing the hand is totally wreckless. I honestly think if you called his raise on the flop and that blank came on the turn he was folding to the rest of your stack.

Let's say our opponent here has AA without the Ad. He might be willing to stack on this flop but not if another diamond hits the board. So we risk losing value here if we don't get it all in on this flop. I think your post is more in response to the results than the correct play.

Postflop is 100% standard. Your opponents play is pretty bad.

I like to get a little loose preflop for reasons like the hand above. monster flop for me. The guy isn't putting me on that flush. I am guessing he was chasing to the river no matter what. Sad thing is he played so tight after that I was confused to as why he even called.

dunno why people are ripping into OP for the pre flop raise, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it imo.

As most people have said, loose PF, but you made the raise, so it's done. Flop is completely AI every time. Villain made an awful call and got there.

Your play looks good to me, Yes the pf raise was loose but nothing wrong with it, just a style preference/mixing up your play thing

At these limits, I'm not down with the whole mixing up the play thing. Players just don't notice. If we had a fishy limper we could isolate, or we were in late position, then I'd be okay with it. But as it is now, its just going to be tough to play the majority of the flops that we want to continue on.

Why would we let him see the turn card for free if we feel he has the A of diamonds, this makes no sense. Getting it in on the flop is an easy decision if we know he has the A of diamonds and he will call us since we are a favorite to win. If we let him see the turn and river for free and he doesnt hit he isnt going to put any more in the pot.

Makes perfect sense to me. If you know he is going to chase it anyways let him see the free card. If the diamond hits you can get away from the hand, if it doesn't hit like I said you are scooping the pot. Sorry I just don't agree with being ultra agressive all the time. I'm the type of player that likes to see cards and guage the situation from there. Too many damn internet players are all preflop, preflop, flop, flop, ALL IN. That's not the strategy I play.

lol, so u are always either winning or losing a very small pot while letting villain draw for free, wtf? Its much more profitable getting all in on this flop if u are 100% certain villain has Ad and not another diamond in his hand. No offense, but that advice is just awful.

lol, if you can get your money in a massive favorite (he was drawing to 7 outs with two shots, so about 30% to hit? Over 2:1) why would you ever choose not to? The problem with your post is that as more cards hit your opponents also get to see it. Do you really think villain is paying you off if he just has KQ high at the end of the hand?
