Ouch, not much you can do there. He's not gonna fold the over pair when you kept raising. He can't put you on the straight.

I think the Flush potential and straight potential would have pushed me away from an all in!

Fold preflop, I may have considered going in this hand if the 8-10 were suited, but unsuited is an auto-fold pre-flop

Pre flop was not ideal, not saying you cannot call this kind of hand, per say, just not typical when a raise has been made.

Turn bet was all wrong. A $7.90 bet into a $4.55 pot the way the board was you could have gone with $3 for e.g. Any reraise or call would give you some info. I can only see someone who is prepared to check/call this kind of bet is someone who has you beat.
