Expect to lose in this situation?

This is only like the first hand I've played against this guy. But most people at these limits will go all in on ANY 5. I suspect he has the 5 and unless he just had a miracle flop with 10-5 or a pocket pair I should be ahead. I never really even considered pocket 8's.

Against a short stack with 4 people at the table? Not much you can do there. Any five would do that, in which case you outkick him. A/T and a lot of other hands you have crushed would do that.

At these stakes you have to be willing to go all in with a hand like this as there will be so many players who will pay you off; the play has +ev in the long run
