Turned out ok this time, but I think my tendecy to try this kind of thing gets me in trouble more often than not.

With the suited K on the button, my intent was to try and steal the blinds and see if I can catch some hearts on the flop.

I'm betting a good player folds preflop here, and would certainly fold to the bet on the flop?

Stacks:
* BTN with $30.00
* SB with $28.35
* BB with $27.45
* UTG with $16.45
* MP with $9.85
* CO with $70.80

* * SB raises to $2.80
* * 1 players fold.

You initially raise is fine from the button but why do we call a reraise w/ this hand? If it is to strictly get lucky then fine but if you are playing skillfully then I think this is a fold.

This is what I suspect. I think the reason I get into this is momentum that I don't have the discipline to fold when it's clear that it's a dead end and I try to gamble.

No need to call the substantial reraise before the flop. As for the button the suited king is good enough to try a steal as long as it is folded to you. And it is pretty much there is to that hand, it certainly isn't worth calling a reraise or even playing when you are multitabling.

Ye you pretty much know that calling the re riase is a bad idea so we will leave that.

As for the flop, i don't really like making plays when i don't have any real re draws. If your move is called, you have no card in the deck that can help you out. If you had k,9 for instance the play is much better since you have a gutshot as backup if your plan fails, but as it is, all you have is runner runner draws so its kinda meh.

But if you had a good read on your opponent the move is acceptable, but i don't like the min raise bluff, since that isn't going to drive away a,q, a,k etc. Raise it up to about 1.30, that way you can make sure you drive away your opponent if they have missed the flop completely
