€400 NLHE Full Ring: KK gets called on 2 streets and faces a hard river decision
I played this hand in live casino. The villain is very strong and tight, played only several hands in 3 hours, only opened strong hands, bet quite big, as I also did because players at the table tended to call any hand if bet was sized normally at 3-4 BB. The villain understands showdown value –several times we were together in one pot with TP no kicker and he never bet or raised. Never did he bet a mediocre hand. We both were very deep – with efficient stack of more than 2000 euro.
A had KhKs and opened from MP +1 34 euro, villain called from the button + 3 other callers.
Flop 10h10s3d. I bet 100 euro, villain called, others fold. As he called a large flop bet I put him on medium pocket pair (77-99, JJ, probably QQ, though this would have probably raised pre, or 10x suited in worst case scenario. OESD was less likely given the flop bet size. Though I thought pp was more likely due to the number of combos. The turn is blank 6c. I couldn’t check and lose control of the hand so I bet 200 on the turn and got called, which much perturbed me…. River was Qs. I checked on the river and faced 600 euro bet ....What is the right river decision? Please check the line. Probably I sized my turn bet too large... I will give the results later in the thread.
