Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 36/18/1 (181 hands) WTSD = 34%

What do you do here ? Is he likely to bluff sometimes when I check or is this type too passive for that usually

Personally I don't think I have that much FE, his WTSD is 34% just wondering is there any plausible way out of c/f this ?

SB: €17.41
BB: €10.00
UTG: €20.28
Hero (CO): €10.15
BTN: €9.95

SB posts SB €0.05, BB posts BB €0.10

Pre Flop: (€0.15) Hero has T:spade: T:heart:

fold, Hero raises to €0.35, BTN calls €0.35, fold, fold

Flop: (€0.85, 2 players) J:diamond: 8:heart: 9:diamond:
Hero bets €0.85, BTN calls €0.85

Turn: (€2.55, 2 players) 2:diamond:

I double barrel for value somewhat often here, with the intention of usually c/f river. He has quite a few 8x/9x/Tx hands that float and don't fold turn, and has something like AdQx or KQ here somewhat often.

Thanks Chuck, good answer as usual :) I think for me the decision to c/f was thinkin the 3-diamond board will scare off those 8x / 9x / overs, in which case there wasn't much point in betting (since he's unlikely to bluff me once I check). Apparently you don't give him that much credit

Yeah I just never credit fish with being able to fold a showdown-value hand, especially with a draw to go along with it.
