1) I'd raise a little more UTG, but that's just personal preference. I hate playing hands out of position.

2) You got lucky your opponent didn't raise the turn and make you go broke.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when an opponent cold calls your raise in position, it usually means he's playing an implied odds type of hand (small pocket pairs, suited connectors). So you need to start being a bit leary when they don't fold on the turn. Since this is a rainbow flop, with only 1 real straight draw (9T), you should start being a little suspicious, because a good player won't cold call your raise out of position with KQ or QJos.

That said, it was definitely a cooler. Sets are not easy to detect, ESPECIALLY at 5$ NL. Oh wow, I just noticed it was 3-handed too! You should definitely go broke!

back to 2NL it is i think, my bankroll is back at 80 after loosing another buyin

55 in a multi way raised pot, flop comes 544 turn is a 10, river is a 9, guy has 99.

I'd raise to $.20 every time I was in a flop at this level.

Post flop I'd fold to a shove. But once that second queen hit, I'd be in it for stacks. You got out cheap IMHO.
Nice "just call" on the river.
