1) I'd raise a little more UTG, but that's just personal preference. I hate playing hands out of position.
2) You got lucky your opponent didn't raise the turn and make you go broke.
Another thing to keep in mind is that when an opponent cold calls your raise in position, it usually means he's playing an implied odds
type of hand (small pocket pairs, suited connectors). So you need to start being a bit leary when they don't fold on the turn. Since this is a rainbow flop, with only 1 real straight draw (9T), you should start being a little suspicious, because a good player won't cold call your raise out of position with KQ or QJos.
That said, it was definitely a cooler. Sets are not easy to detect, ESPECIALLY at 5$ NL. Oh wow, I just noticed it was 3-handed too! You should definitely go broke!
