Such a gross spot. You shouldn't be afraid of the Q, you should be afraid that he flopped a monster. I probably still end up calling the turn (4 is pretty aggressive), and calling a reasonable bet on most rivers (given the read that he might raise something like TT-77, A6, or maybe even 87 sometimes?). If he has 65 or 54, or 66, or something, then damn it.

Call it is...I am really kicking myself for the check right now but, its over and was probably a crappy move on my part.
On that note, where does this put us?

* * Hero calls [$2.50]
* * Potsize: $14.35
River:
* * 2♦
* * Hero checks
* * MP2 bets [$18.05, and is all in]

Sooo gross. I probably fold, I just don't see him bluffing here ever, and the he rarely (?) shows up here with TT-77, I think. It's most likely a flopped boat, trips, or a random turned Q.

I folded after he shoved, this hand is the only hand that I was disgusted with today. I like to think he flopped a boat but after watching him play for another 100 or so hands the more I think about it the more I think he had 10s or lower, he slowplayed almost every good hand he had and made huge bluffs at the pot when he had overcards and was beat. That was his final downfall when he shoved with AK and pocket 8s called him on a raggy table.

No need to dwell on it but w/e still aggrevating

like vanq said, the Q isn't of all that much consequence because there are very few hands in his flop-calling range that contain a Q. you should definitely be more worried that he flopped trips or a boat and slowplayed it

i probably fold as well. it's unlikely he'd turn a made hand into a bluff, and i don't know if he'd bluff a missed straight draw in this fashion since they'd typically just keep calling

I like a check/call on turn much better than bet/fold or bet/call.

If you haven't seen villain go to showdown yet after 20 hands, he's no calling station, so virtually no hand that we beat calls a second barrel here, and we do have some although not great showdown value. Let villain bluff the bottom part of his range, imo.
