It was the last 100 people of a 2700 person crowd. I was sittin with a healthy stack and had started to lossen up a bit as the poker gods had began blessing me with some strong hands and big pots. The one other guy at the table with a stack my size (about 90,000) had raised pre-flop about 4X the pot which was a big stack of chips and every had folded at the table without a second thought. I was sittin in the BB with KK and decided i was gunna raise it another 15,000 to really test to see if his hand was that great. For some odd un appariant reason he went all in and i quickly called seeing his 7-8 suited and i laughed out loud cause i almost guarenteed i had it..flop came 5H,9S,AC..so far so good..turn came 2H..than the dreaded river..the 6C...well that sealed my fate for that tourney and had lost to the imfamous 78 suited..never will i doubt the power of the suited and connected hands again.
