My first thought here is to wonder why you're only asking about calling. While it would be nicer in position, this stills looks like a decent spot to consider squeezing, especially if you know the opener's range is wide enough to include a good proportion of hands that can't stand a 3-bet very well. The caller has already limited his strength, so it's not likely he'll suddenly find that his hand that was only worth calling the opening has suddenly become worth calling a 3-bet.

Also, while I can't speak for anyone else, I prefer normal hand histories to the replays you post.

There's no way I would fold that 5 handed. (or 6 handed) And as Arj is saying, a reraise would not be inappropriate.

And yeah - It is really going out of our way to reply when hand histories are out of the accepted norm. Cool idea - but it's too slow for us. We have got used to the format of HH and can find what we are looking for right away. It may look like a mess (it did to us at first too), but like my desk I know where everything is :)

Depends on villain.

Give me a 50/32 and I'll 3bet
Give me a 14/10 and I'll fold.
Give me an unpositional 25/22 I'll call.

First player only made a fairly standard raise (3x bb) and the second player called. With .25 already in and with there only being 5 players, KQo is a pretty strong hand I feel... I would have at least seen the flop. Did you fold because it was UTG that initiated the raise? Some stats would have informed us more about player tendencies. Wouldn't have mattered to me tho' because I would not have folded pre...

Vs an unknown I fold.
Please explain further... What else is he supposed to wait for at a short-handed table considering the blinds? He'd probably lose more money waiting for AA, KK, AKs than playing the kind of hand he was dealt... What cards would you have played? Honestly asking... I mean, he gave no stats to go by...

i fold. if you gonna play it then 3-bet. i think calling is a mistake. your going to miss the flop more often than not and we are OOP.

as for the results: don't worry about it. the pot was small, they didn't have anything that was going to pay off your boat anyway.
play more hands with position and forget about folding winners.

Oh... We're talking about the fact of him calling in general? idk, then... Raising might be bad considering the fact that he doesn't know what the intial pre-flop raiser and caller has. You think that both opponents before him are going to fold to a re-raise or are you saying to bet for more value...?

if you know the opener is LAG then this is the perfect spot to squeeze. even if we get a call or 2, we can still take down the pot with a c-bet.
folding is fine too. we don't really want to play hands OOP. calling is the worst option imo. what do you do when the flop comes 26J rainbow? your going to miss the flop often and then what? check/fold?

fold or 3-bet imo.

This really won't help stop C9 from calling me a nit but here goes.

{22-JJ, AQs}
I don't like playing OOP but I hate playing OOP vs unknowns. At the micros the tag-reg won't exploit us for this and obviusly unknowns will never exploit us here. Best of all unknowns won't exploit you for having such a tight flatting range. Tbh at the micros I doubt the anyone else will for that matter.

For the record I'm a 24/21 at 6max. You don't have to be nitty to throw AJ away from a non-stealing open.

Thx for the explanation... Your logic makes more sense to me now...
