yea, you want to raise the turn and build the pot. This is player dependant and without knowing the villian its hard to tell your the right action - u have to look to exploit his tendancies..if he's super passive then the flat call is fine etc. yea, the button play is spewy either raise or fold..no real value in limping with T6 granted you got lucky here. Personally, unless u know the blinds r nits. Put T6 in the muck, its a dreadful hand with no implied odds
Goin on this hand, i've say to tighten up your PF range. Just raise Ax KQ-KT, suited connectors, any pp's in the CO and the button if folded round to you. And only raise junk where you have good fold equity vs super tight blinds or weak post flop players.
